Below are just a few of the many different ways in which Reddy Made Maths can support your school’s mathematical development: –

Subject knowledge workshops

Anthony will take groups of staff in year groups / phases, timetabled throughout the day. He will deliver individualised training on specific topics, such as mental arithmetic, reasoning or CPA.

Lesson observations & feedback

Anthony will observe and support teachers in their lesson delivery, guiding staff in ideas, activities and ways forward.

Subject Leader support

Anthony will work alongside Subject Leaders / Maths Teams on all aspects of developing their role.

Calculation audits

Anthony will work with groups of children and, (usually accompanied by the Subject Leader), audit their calculation skills and strategies.

Demonstration lessons

Anthony will deliver whole class lessons, based on either general teaching approaches and CPA or on specific topics and themes.

Team teaching

Anthony will work alongside staff in joint delivery of lessons, supporting the teachers and demonstrating ideas on predetermined foci.

Book scrutiny

Anthony can provide a thorough, professional scrutiny of maths books, to analyse areas such as differentiation, challenge, reasoning or problem solving.

Planning support

Anthony will work with individuals or year groups to assist them in creating high quality, effective maths plans. This will ensure that maths planning for fluency, reasoning and
problem solving is built in to clear, cohesive units of teaching.

Anthony has had a really positive impact on the teaching & learning of Maths in our school. Through INSETs and demo lessons our staff have been able to see first-hand what high quality teaching and learning looks like.
